The company was kind enough to also send for review their 70mai hardware installation kit. You can find how to install it in their video below by the way. I followed the steps and it worked like a charm.

HDR Dual-Channel Recording

Powered by the Sony Starvis 2 IMX678 CMOS sensor and HDR algorithm, the 70mai Dash Cam A810 delivers true 4K UHD resolution. The sensor’s increased chip size and pixel area, combined with its improved low-light performance, ensure that you capture bright and sharp images even in challenging lighting conditions. The A810’s exclusive MaiColor Vivid+ Solution further enhances the footage quality, making it clear, natural, and realistic.

The 70mai Dash Cam A810 is the first 4K dash cam compatible with a 1080P HDR rear camera. This dual-channel recording setup allows you to capture both the road ahead and the rear view, providing maximum coverage and evidence in case of rear-end collisions. The HDR algorithm ensures that the rear camera delivers clear, realistic footage, even at night.

Night Owl Vision

The 70mai Dash Cam A810 features the exclusive Night Owl Vision technology, which excels at capturing clear footage in low-light conditions. With its large F1.8 aperture, it pulls in more light, resulting in well-illuminated recordings. Night Owl Vision enhances night footage by improving clarity, exposure balance, color saturation, and light glare control, ensuring that you never miss any crucial details, even in the dark.

AI Motion Detection and Smart Parking Guardian Mode

The A810 is equipped with AI motion detection, which can identify suspicious human activities around your parked vehicle and automatically activate recording. This feature proves invaluable in preventing hit-and-runs or break-ins. Additionally, the A810 offers a Smart Parking Guardian Mode, where both the front and rear cameras continuously record at one frame per second during parking mode. The footage is then compressed into a one-minute time-lapse video, saving on memory card space and power consumption.

Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS)

The 70mai Dash Cam A810 in my review, comes with advanced driver-assistance systems. These provide real-time voice alerts for pedestrians, bikers, lane departure, front collision, and moving traffic. These safety features help you stay vigilant and make informed decisions while driving, ensuring a safer journey for you and those around you.

GPS and Connectivity

The built-in GPS module in the A810 provides essential safety features. These include real-time speed, coordinates, and current time. This information proves crucial in tracking accident locations and providing evidence for insurance claims. The A810 can be connected to the 70mai App via its WiFi hotspot. This allows you to access real-time footage on your phone, take photos, and download and share them effortlessly.

The AI motion detection and Smart Parking Guardian Mode provide added security and peace of mind when your vehicle is parked.
